With these guiding core values, our prayer is that your family would T.H.R.I.V.E. in Christ!
T – Truth. As Christian families, we must uphold and model the truth’s of God’s Holy Word.
John 17:17, ESV: “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
H – Holiness. As believers in Christ, we want to bring honor to His Name by leading lives above reproach.
1 Peter 1:14-16, ESV: “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’”
R – Restoration. We seek God’s constant restoration for families, as we allow Him to fix what ails families today — our culture, our enemy and our own sin.
Joel 2:25, ESV: “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”
I – Instruction. As Christian parents, we must not merely know the truth but faithfully teach it to our children, to help them lead godly and fulfilling lives.
Proverbs 10:17, ESV: “Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.”
V – Vitality. Christian families should be characterized by the abundant life found only in Jesus Christ.
John 10:10, ESV: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
E – Endurance. As families seeking to build Christ’s Kingdom, we must fix our eyes on Jesus and press forward with boldness.
Hebrews 12:1-2, ESV: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
